Come along to the launch of Cambuslang and Rutherglens new cycling hub. The event will give visitors the chance to explore the new space and celebrate cycling.
11am to 4pm on Saturday 29th October
Bike Town are delighted to finally open their new premises to the public. With a range of activities on the day visitors can expect to have a great time while learning about all the things Bike Town do in the community.
At the new cycle hub residents will be able to use the venue all year round for a range of events and cycle related activities including guided rides and bike maintenance workshops. Residents will also be able to access our various services such as the Bike Loan Scheme, skills courses, and we are always accepting bike donations which we repair and refurbish to sell on at low cost to the local community.

When reducing carbon is discussed it can be hard to imagine what does a given amount of carbon looks like.
Below is a graphic representation of 1Kg of carbon
And if you walk or cycle for 3 miles, you save this amount of carbon, not once but every time you walk or cycle 3 miles.
