Cycle Skills Training
Are you fairly new to cycling? Want to improve your confidence and skills? Not sure how to navigate on cycling infrastructure?
If any of these apply Bike Town can help!
We offer free training and support to people living/working in Rutherglen/Cambuslang who are keen to improve their cycling skills. The course involves a half day training session and follow-up support to help get you started.
If learning to get from A to B interests you, Cycling Skills will improve your confidence and skills at one of the sessions. Then we will help you to plan a route and arrange to accompany you to your chosen destination.
Ride Leader Training
Experienced cyclists who are interested in helping others become confident cyclists are invited to take part in our Ride Leader Training.
Completing this will qualify the individual to take adults and families out on our various Guided Rides. Spend a few hours of your day taking a group of cyclists at various levels through scenic cycle routes, pass on your cycling know how and have a warm drink in the middle. What could be better?
The course is one day long and teaches participants how to navigate the roads safely whilst making sure the group is safe.
