Coronavirus Covid-19

In these times of uncertainty, we’re certain of one thing - that there are lots of good people out there with great community spirit across Cambuslang and Rutherglen, and we all really need that right now. We want to provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our participants, volunteers, guests, customers and staff. So in the short term we are following government health advice and postponing or cancelling a lot of our activities. Please be assured, however, that we are still here and willing to help however we can and we know that lots of residents are too.

All our teams are planning for how we can still offer support where it is most needed in our communities – it may just be in a slightly different format. We’re also coordinating with local politicians, agencies and local community organisations from Cambuslang and Rutherglen, so we can help residents and communities with what they may need in these difficult circumstances.

Specifically, Biketown currently remains open. We are here to help you with all your cycling needs. We will ask you to wait at the door and wash your hands as you enter but we're here for servicing and selling bikes. Cycling is a great way to get around and also keep healthy. We're at the end of the phone, on social media, on e-mail or however you normally get in touch with us.
