Brrrrrr 🥶. It’s that time of year again when the gloves and scarves make an appearance again on the bike.
But we weren’t quite expecting this…! 👀

We have managed to get a hold of a segment of a 1.5 mile (!) long scarf that has been stitched together by a group of knitters across the UK ahead of the #COP26 in Glasgow.

Hundreds of knitters from all over the world have created segments with messages about climate change and the environment, and the length reflects the Paris Agreement’s goal to limit the global warming to 1.5C.

Sew 😜, come down to BikeTown during #COP26 and catch a glimpse of a wee (40 metre!) section and have a chat with us about our bicycle recycling/refurb projects.

Thanks to R:evolve Recycle and GreeningCamglen for the loan!
